I was a bit disappointed by Henric's debute album, "Henric De La Cour", back in the autumn of 2011. That album has now become a big favourite of mine. I like it so much, that this new album is the current disappointment. But have no fear - I'm sure this album is going to grow just as much on me as the last one. I'm pretty sure the 2CD version is sold out by now. The regular CD version is still available. Get it now!

As you can see this album isn't the nicest looking CD in my collection. Luckily I don't judge a CD by it's cover. I don't really know what to call this music, though. Maybe some sort of electronic postpunk, but a lot less melodic than last weeks The Present Moment, and much more leaning towards EBM. It's a nice album with a couple of stand out tracks, most noticeable "Wolf Hour" with vocals from Henric De La Cour.

A bit of a hard one to categorise ,this debute solo album from former Yvonne and Strip Music singer Henric De La Cour. I've read reviews stating it to be goth-pop, rock/electronica and simply low-fi electronics. I don't care much for genres, but I can understand if you don't know what to expect if you're not familiar with Henric's former bands. I was a bit disappointed at first by this album. I had expected better choruses than simply chanting "Show me my machine" over and over. But I think that this may be a "grower". The first 200 copies comes with a limited bonus CD, so get it now!
