Ikon - Black Noise EP
(2016) Nile
There's a couple of different "Black Noise" EP's and singles from Ikon. This one is the 2016 version, also released as a 12". I know there were talks about a 12" version being released back in 2015. Maybe even a test pressing auctioned off on eBay? I like this EP, don't know if it's available anymore, though?

Ikon - Stolen 7''/CDM
Ikon - Stolen 7''/CDM (2014)
Nile
Second single from Ikon's fantastic "Everyone Everything Everywhere Ends" album. Just as all Ikon singles of late, this EP is released in several different vinyl colours plus a CD with some additional tracks. "Stolen" is one of the more electronic sounding songs on "Everyone Everything Everywhere Ends". I like this song a lot! Now I'm just waiting for the next single, "Blood Of Love".

Ikon - Everyone Everything Everywhere Ends 2CD
Ikon - Everyone Everything Everywhere Ends 2CD (2014)
Nile
After a bit of delay I finally got the new Ikon CD. Actually, it's a 2CD - but I don't know a lot about the second CD. I think it's demos and some exclusive tracks on it. The song titles are the same on the songs I think are demos (or maybe it's just alternative versions?), but the second CD is supposed to be recorded in 2011-2013 while the main album is recorded 2013-2014. Anyway, this album is a whole new chapter for Ikon. They've never been this dynamic. There's songs in all styles imaginable; some acoustic, some pop, some neofolk, some electronic, some rock plus a cool intro and a couple of instrumentals. I think this will be looked upon as Ikon's best album, but for me nothing can beat "This Quiet Earth". Buy, Buy, Buy! And don't forget to pick up the great "I Burn For You" 7"+CDEP bundle while you're at it.

Ikon - This Quiet Earth (Re-Issue)
Ikon - This Quiet Earth
(Re-Issue) 2013 4CD/Box
Nile
(Re-Issue) 2013 4CD/Box
Nile
This is one of my all time favourite albums. I love everything about Ikon, but I'm especially fond of Ikon's sound from 1997 (No official Ikon releases this year, I know. But both the Crimes Of Passion CD and the excellent Jerusalem Syndrome CD helped me get my Ikon fix) to 1999.
The re-issue has been both remixed, remastered and re-sung and I love the new sound! The regular 4CD edition includes the original album on CD1. The second CD has a couple of B-sides and CD3 has outtakes and remixes - including one of my favourite tracks from this era "Triumph Of My Will", previously only released on a somewhat forgotten Metropolis Records sampler "Electropolis Volume II". The most interesting CD is the fourth one, called "The Hollow Earth". It includes a complete unreleased album with 12 previously unheared tracks from 1997/1998.
The box also includes an USB stick with a set of 12 early 8 track demos, the "Subversion" promo video (HD) and all the tracks in .wav format, a t-shirt, two embroidered patches, a necklace, two postcards an a 26-page photo booklet with information about the recording and every track.

Ikon – The Echoes Of Silence (Re-issue)
Ikon – The Echoes Of Silence
(Re-issue) 2013 2CD/Box
Nile
This is a chance to get one of Ikon's earliest (1994) releases in an upgraded and expanded (of course it's remastered!) edition. Sadly, the ultra limited box is already sold out. You had to place a pre-order to get one of these. The USB-stick in the box holds 10 additional tracks, a promo video and som information pdf's.
The excellent sound quality of this release makes it an essential purchase. The bonus tracks are mostly hit and miss. You don't have to feel unlucky for not being able to get hold of the box. But hurry, the 2CD edition is also limited.

Ikon - Azkadelia
Ikon - Azkadelia 7"/CDM (2012)
Nile
Yes! Ikon is back on track again. This is their best single since the "League Of Nations" EP back in 2007. I love everything about this great new tune. The guitars, the melody and the production. The only negative I can think of is that Ikon has decided not to include more than one new B-side on their singles since last years "Where Do I Go From Here" CDM. Instead we get a couple of remixes. I love the EP format, but I understand that they want to save the new songs for the next album. In my world Ikon's best releases are EP's. Both the earlier mentioned "League Of Nations" and the 1999 "Lifeless" EP are incredible!

Ikon - Where Do I Go From Here EP

EP (2011) Nile
Finally some new songs from Ikon. And it's an EP. I love EP's!
Nothing new this time around, though. Ikon continues to sound like the have sounded the last couple of years. Great sound, but maybe not the best Ikon songs ever. I had expected better songs. I will continue to listen to it for a couple of days. Maybe I'll change my mind?

Jerusalem Syndrome - The Book Of Days (Re-issue)

Jerusalem Syndrome -
The Book Of Days (Re-issue)
2CD (2011)
Nile
Jerusalem Syndrome was a on-off collaboration between Ikon's mastermind Chris McCarter and Subterfuge/Razorfade singer Clifford Ennis. They released one album "The Book Of Days" and some compilation tracks back in 1997.
I have only one problem with this remastered re-issue. It contains the previously unreleased first mix of the album. The 1997 Apollyon release have a far superior mix. Otherwise it's perfect. The CD contains the rare "Without Shadows" in two versions as well as a lot of unreleased demos and alternative mixes. Now, I'm only hoping for a re-release of Clifford's old band Subterfuge's EP "Darkland Awakening", packed with lot's of extras!
This is one of my all time favourite albums. Get it now! And try to get hold of the Apollyon version as well.

Ikon - Love, Hate And Sorrow

(2009) Nile
I've been waiting for ages on a new studio album from Ikon. Finally it has arrived. And what an album! It includes the singles "Amongst The Runes" and "A Line On A Dark Day" (well "A Line On A Dark Day" is the first song on the "League Of Nations" EP, but never mind that). It also includes a live favourite featured on "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams Volume 2", "All Dephts Of Despair". I love this album, it's sort of a new style from Ikon. There's guitars everywhere!
And I haven't even mentioned the acoustic bonus CD yet. I just love the acoustic "Stalag 13" and "Torn Apart"!
